The soup is very good, but I would make a few minor changes the next time I make it. I would cut the salt back to 3/4 tsp. or less. I also added about 1/2 cup of cabernet which added the right depth to the soup. The next time I make it, I will also cut back on the spinach -- I love spinach, but thought four cups was a bit too much."

I was looking forward to making this because of all the great reviews. I think I was looking for something different in taste. I followed the recipe and my family ate it, but didn't rave about it.
