Reviewed Soy and Cider Brined Turkey on Toast Points with Maple-Soy Gravy

Dec 18, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

This was awesome, the turkey was delish and moist, gravy was creamy and complimented the turkey perfectly. The corn succotash was just delightful and so very tasty, I'll be making this again!! AND, the peppered snap peas were to die for! The sweet potatoes just rounded out a delicious meal for a great Holiday gathering at my place. I served the...

Simple recipe but that's what makes it work...simplicity, taste, quick...what more could you ask for.
I did add some grated parmesan reggiano and some lemon zest. But the recipe has the bones to work with and I love that...adding my own touch!"

Reviewed Fingerling Potatoes with Aioli

Apr 11, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The recipe is AWESOME!! I made it for an "afternoon with the girls" and it was the hit of the afternoon! The aioli was so very easy to make and loved that the potatoes were boiled as they were soft and tender, just right for the dip. I think a crunchy/roasted potato might have been a bit too chewy and detracted from the elegant aioli. The pair"

I also did what another reviewer did...I made it the day before planning to serve it as I knew short ribs were a very fatty meat (but oh so flavorful). Reviewed White Bean and Chicken Chili

Jan 31, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

To "Lovetocook4myhoney"...if you don't care for the fennel taste...leave it out...this is a WONDERFUL full-flavored chili!! My first bowl I too thought it a bit heavy on the fennel (but I lOVE fennel), however after simmering it for about 45min all the flavors melded together and there was no longer that strong fennel taste. Try it...don't give up...
