My Activity
Reviewed Korean Style Short Ribs (Crock Pot)
"Loved this recipe. 6 hrs. on high worked great and I used 3 lbs. of bone in beef ribs, so the resulting sauce was perfect. Kids and hubby gave it two thumbs up."
Reviewed Do Nothing Cake
"Not sure what the commotion is about. I poked mine all over and it ended up a bit soggy. Very easy to do, but the final product was just okay and there are a lot of other cakes I would prefer. Sorry."
Reviewed Asian-Style Pork and Vegetable Noodles
"Wonderful comfort food and filling. I added cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, red & green cabbage, onions and chow mien noodles instead of linguini. I didn't have bean sprouts. I took other's advice and doubled the sauce, but found it was too much. Probably 1 1/2 of the recipe would be perfect. Would also add 2 cloves of garlic next time."
Reviewed Turkey Lasagna
"Very nice Ina, but I prefer my replacement for your ricotta mixture (creamed cottage cheese and bechemel). Your sauce is much better than mine and I added 1/2 cup red wine."
Reviewed Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with Warm Cider Vinaigrette
"AMAZING!!! I keep dreaming of this salad. Dressing is wonderful on any mixed greens. LUV you Ina."
Reviewed Chicken Piccata
"Very good. Better with 1/4 c. Wine and 2 cloves of garlic."
Reviewed Cauliflower Soup and Garlic and Cheese Sourdough "Dippers"
"Love you; love the soup. I sautéed the onions, 3 cloves garlic and thyme first and then added the cauliflower. Splash of hot sauce at the end was brilliant. Next time! I might add 1/4 tsp. red cili flakes to the sautéing veggies instead."
Reviewed Chocolate White Chocolate Chunk Cookies
"Amazing and I agree they are a bit too sweet; will cut it back 1/3 cup next time."
