About Me

I'm Catherine.. High School student trying my best to enjoy what life brings me, and not obsessing and/or getting overwhelmed by the small stuff, which is pretty hard to do in my opinion.  However, I love food!  Period.  Just watching great meals being cooked is interesting to me!  Even if I don't get to eat-sad face :/.. I especially enjoy watching and making-if I get the chance to- the brilliant yet simple and elegant recipes of Giada De Laurentiis on Giada at Home.  I love to be inspired by that show!  I'm trying to make time to make the recipes that I see interesting, and eventhough I tay "by the book" I might surprise myself in improving a  recipe..!  For instance, I'm not a big fan of basil being used-overused-in a recipe, so I might find myself using a more, less strong, potent herb... (?)
