Reviewed New Potatoes, Green Beans and Ham

Jul 1, 2014 in null on Food.com

Real comfort food! I used fresh green beans and red skinned potatoes. The ham was thin sliced so I added it the last 30 minutes or so to warm and the flavors to meld properly without overcooking the meat. Served this with fresh sliced tomatoes, cornbread and of course green onion. Thank you for a wonderful recipe."

A delicious recipe for turkey meatballs. Half a recipe made enough meatballs for 4 people. They were delicious and the instructions were well written. I did not make the sauce this time and substituted a prepared canned sauce. Next time I will try making the sauce as well and maybe increasing it a bit. The meatballs were served over freshly ...

Delicious and quick. I used 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts that were butterflied and then flattened somewhat for even cooking. Chicken stock replaced the white wine and plain yogurt was used instead of heavy cream. The chicken was served with steamed brocolli. This is a quick and delicious dish that I can see myself making again. ...

This was nice for a change of pace. Probably wouldn';t call it "creamy". I may try cooking it again with the milk in place of the water. I used almond milk, fresh blueberries and chia seeds. The quinoa cooked for 12 minutes then rested for another 3 to 4 covered before serving. It was drizzled lightly with honey. As written this recipe ...

This makes generous portions of delicious fresh vegetables. I did end up using regular green cabbage and a yellow bell pepper as that is what I had on hand. A pinch or 2 of red pepper flakes were added during the cooking process. It was served with steamed black rice on the side. Made for Aussie Swap."
