Made with thin-sliced boneless chicken breasts. Did not make the salad. I brushed half of the marinade while grilling, and served the other half during the meal. Everyone liked it, and voted for it again!"

I thought this was bland, however, I will make it again with a few adjustments. I did add garlic powder, and will add minced or crushed garlic to the spinach/sourcream filling.

I diced the carrots, and they took a lot longer to cook than what is written in the recipe. When I served it before they were completely done (just ran out of time cooking the meal. I will opt for frozen peas and carrots in the future."

Wow! I loved this recipe! I thought about using thin-sliced chicken breasts, but chose to purchase boneless breasts and pound them. I know that added calories, but I was fine with that. The flavor was amazing - mostly from the basil and the tomato/sour cream sauce. I thought that the cheese was non-existent. But, for 35 calories, do I really"

Reviewed Pat's Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Wonderful! I did not skewer the asparagus because I have a veggie grill tray. It was easy to wrap the bacon around the stalks, and there was no need to secure. Grill time was spot on. I would have made more, but I bought as small package of bacon. This is now my go-to recipe for grilled asparagus!"

I had two issues with this recipe:

a.) I was not sure whether or not I was supposed to heat the oven to 375 after the 3 hours of cooling was up, or if that should have been done prior to the 3 hours was finished.
b.) I made the dry rub as required, and wasted so much! Perhaps using half the amount for a 5-pound roast...

Reviewed Scalloped Potato Gratin

Dec 25, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

I was asked to bring scalloped potatoes for Christmas Dinner. I chose this recipe because I always enjoy Tyler's recipes. With that said, I have a couple comments:

a.) The video does not match the recipe - there are variances with the ingredients and processes.

b.) If you choose to make this dish, I would...
