Delicious and a bit exotic -- harkens to the spice trail. A hit with everyone in my family [we all lived in India for 15 years, and most people had a 5-star response] and a meh [3.5-4 stars] from my Swedish-Greek husband but that's because I add extra cardamom and he doesn't care for that intensity in this drink. I also let the mixture steep overnight...

I grew up in India, though I'm Euro-American by ethnicity, and this recipe is a winner in our house. I enjoyed it immensely, so did my husband [whose fave at restaurants is -- now was -- chicken tikka], the two older kids really liked it too [11 and 8 y.o.], but our 3 y.o. wouldn't taste it. He will next time.

Delicious. I used decaf English Breakfast from TeaSource. The cinnamon was a strong element, but the hint of zing from the mint and ginger raises the eyebrows of tasters around here! A happy addition to our repertoire--a delight for adults and kids. "
