Reviewed Spinach and Ricotta Dumplings

"
One of my favorite things to make. I usually make it with whole-milk ricotta, but this time I used Precious Low Fat Ricotta and didn't miss a thing. Make sure the water is salty like the ocean or your balls will be bland, and don't boil the water too vigorously or they will break apart.

Reviewed Braised Beef Brisket with Onions, Mushrooms, and Balsamic

"Outstanding. I made it for my daughter's class Hanukkah party and a 6lb brisket fed about 20 adults. They were all raving. I left out the bacon and it was still delicious. I was concerned that it wasn't cooked after two hours covered, so I left it in for another half hour covered and then the half hour uncovered. I sliced it and froze it in the sa"

Reviewed Baked Eggs with Sausage and Mushrooms

"Just made these for dinner and they were quite delicious. My husband aren't sausage fans (I think because of the fennel) so I tried the Trader Joe's Sweet Chicken Italian Sausage instead. (Also hoping to make it a bit healthier.) He still found the fennel taste prominent, but I really liked the different flavors. Since it was just the two of us I "

Reviewed Ultimate Ginger Cookie

"Pretty delicious! I only used 1 tsp of cloves and chopped Trader Joe's uncrystallized ginger with some granulated sugar. It made 22 cookies and they were almost a bit underdone after 13 minutes so next time I'll flatten them a bit more. (I wish the pic was more clear for this recipe.) I just hope my family like them as much as the hermits I usuall"

Reviewed Chef Anne's All-Purpose Pasta Dough

"Unbelievable! I got the Atlas 150 and decided to brave making fresh pasta for the first time. The olive oil and eggs came running out of the well so next time I'll put it in a large bowl. But I managed to scrape it all up. I didn't think it would turn out because my dough seemed a bit tough and after kneading for about 8 - 10 minutes I gave up. (I"

Reviewed Sesame Chicken With Snow Peas

"Delicious! Took out the kitchen making it, but even my very picky husband loved it so it was worth it! Will definitely make again. Didn't have chili paste so I just added a bit of cayenne pepper. Also didn't turn out quite like the picture. Mine was more saucy, but tasted just fine that way!"

Reviewed Turkey Lettuce Wraps

"Delicious! And easy. Not a lot of prep at all. I substituted apple cider vinegar because couldn't find rice wine vinegar and it was perfect. I also put some minced ginger and the garlic in with the oil for a few seconds before adding the turkey. My picky husband loved it. Definite redo - thanks Melissa! (And healthy to boot!)"

Reviewed Dry-Rubbed Rib-Eye

"Outstanding! I used 2 tsp cumin as reviewers recommended and 2 tb kosher salt. (Don't know why the admin team didn't also correct the fact that it says regular salt instead of kosher salt - that's also why people are complaining too salty.) My mini-chopper couldn't grind the red pepper flakes so I used cayenne. Even my picky mother-in-law who does"
