About Me

I learned to cook, by necessity, in college when i was living off campus. My roommates and I rotated weekly cooking the meals, buying the groceries, and I had never even turned on an oven before then. Luckily I was introduced to the Culinary Institute of America in Philadelphia, and 6 months later had a cooking certificate.

Today I focus on off-beat, unusual foods and recipes, with a gourmet touch. I am always seeking unusual recipes, and have lately garnered a fascination for Asian cuisine.

Among my best dishes are my homemade Pizza, Italian and Tex Mex chicken dishes, Maple Glazed Salmon, and my personal version of beer can chicken.

My latest venture has been Carne Asada, a traditional Mexican meat dish. Still a work in progress. Good and getting better.
