After reading the reviews, I also reduced the white sugar by 1/4 of a cup. Even then, I felt like it was still a tad too sweet. I added 1/2 cup of chopped pecans, as well. My husband and children really enjoyed these, and asked for me to bake them again. Next time, however, I will reduce the white sugar by a bit more. Thanks for this recipe!
