Reviewed Sour Cream Coffee Cake

"This is a recipe I found in 2004 and is one of those recipes I will hold on to forever. It is wonderful. You dont need to change a thing about. Everytime I make it there are never any leftovers. This is a must try. Super moist, just sweet enough, and pretty. This cake speaks for itself. "

Reviewed Cinnamon Rolls

"This is a recipe I have been making for a LONG time! They are always a hit. I double the icing because my husband likes extra on the side. Sometimes I use brown sugar instead of white and that is fun change once and a while. If you want to make something totally impressive and easy, make these, they are always a hit at brunch!!!! (oh, and dont ice"

Reviewed Jam Thumbprint Cookies

"These cookies are so yummy, pretty, and very easy to make. You dont need to roll them in coconut, but that honestly does make them even more tasty.
Sometimes I put some almond extract in the dough for a little something extra. ;) I have made these so many times, and they will forever be a staple in our home. You've got to try them! "

Reviewed Pancakes

"This recipe is awesome. I havent had time to grocery shop and needed something super simple and quick to eat. I had everything this recipe called for and to my suprise they turned out great! About Me

I am a Southern California native that has been transplanted to Indiana and boy do I feel like a fish out of water. I have been baking since I was hold enough to hold a spoon. One day I would like to open my very own cafe, but until then I will enjoy my job as a homemaker. Ive been married since 2009, and am expecting a baby boy in November! We are so excited!

Favorite Foods

My favorite foods are Japanese, Mexican, and good old American. I love love love sushi and tepennyaki, really good carne asada, bbqed steak, and a good burger.

I perfer to bake, rather than cook, but I think I am a decent cook. I make pretty good tacos, they always seem to be a hit. My husband loves when I fry chicken. I like to fill up more on side dishes and appetizers that a main dish. I make a very good summer chicken salad, and potato salad (it uses no mayo so its awesome!) Cous Cous is a hit and very simple... I cook a lot of different meals and sides, it mostly depends on what Ive got in the house. I am the queen of making something out of nothing...

I love to bake, a lot of people like my peach pie, cinnamon rolls, cookies. Lemon bars seem to be a big favorite (its my own recipe, simple, but soooo addicting!)

My favorite restaurants range from El Super Burrito, Schoops hamburgers, Shogun, to Joes Steakhouse here in Chicago... I am always up to try a new restaurant no matter how hole in the wall or fancy it may be. I LOVE food!
