Reviewed Uncle Bob's Fresh Apple Cake

"I cannot tell you how truly delicious this cake is. It is the best apple cake I have ever tasted, even without the glaze. The only modifications I made: I used three Granny Smith Apples, instead of 2. I used 1 1/2 cup of sugar, instead of 2 cups, and I baked it for 1 hour and 15 minutes, instead of 1 hour and 30 minutes in a convection oven, and I didn't glaze the cake, because it was sweet enough. The cake came out perfect and moist. Had I left it for the entire 1 hour and 30 minutes, it would have been too dry. The sweetness was perfect with the decreased sugar. I will definately make this cake again. "

Reviewed Maple Cookies

"The cookies are very delicious, especially with the glaze. You can substitute maple sugar with just plain white sugar; it still comes out tasting great. But the dough..what a nightmare to work with. I kept it in the refrigerator for four hours, and it was mooshy to work with. I opted for making the cookies the next day, hoping the dough would be harder. Once you take it out of the refrigerator and work with it, it turns into a sticky, mooshy mess, and makes it very hard to work with. I would recommend freezing the dough in a log shape, and just cutting it in 1/4" thickness, and baking that way. Believe me, it's the only way I will make these again.

Reviewed My Big, Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Extremely delicious cookies! I have to say, the best tasting choc. chip cookies I have tasted to date. I used 8 oz. of Ghiradelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips instead of the chunks, and added 1 cup crushed walnuts. These cookies keep disappearing! Very easy to make. What a great recipe. Thanks Tyler!

Reviewed Sweet Potato Pie

"This was the most incredible tasting pie I have ever tasted. This is not a simple tasting pie, every bite is filled with a complex surprise of flavors. I absolutely loved it! I made it exactly as the recipe stated. Make sure when you make this pie, you make the crust that goes with it. It will be so worth it to make it. Don't cheat with store bought pie crust! The only problem I had with my pie crust, is that it looked so beautiful when I put it in the oven, but when it came out, it had shrank a little. Not sure, what went wrong. But it was still heavenly.

Reviewed Pumpkin Pie

"The pie was ok. It tasted too milky for my taste, and with every bite, I felt something was missing (although I followed the recipe accurately). Not sure if the recipe should have had maybe, more cinnamon? I thought some readers were accurate in saying, it tasted pretty average. Sorry :(
