I buy two different brands of pasta and different types of pasta and the boxes say 1 lb. What brand of pasta are you referring to that the box/boxes have 13.25?

Did you mean to say you added a bay leaf and not basil? Bay leaf should be removed but basil can be eaten.

I have made coffee cake before and never added coffee to the batter. Coffee cake is just a term for this type of cake usually served alongside of coffee.

I made this a little while ago for dinner; first time making/having grits. And I followed other reviewers recommendations saying to use old-fashioned grits. The recipe is easy to make and it turned out to be quite tasty. I followed the recipe on the container of the grits for one serving but
I added a little bit more parmesan cheese. I've...

Excellent!! Very tasty and easy to make. I cut the recipe in half because my sons don't like seafood and the only substitution I made was to use angel hair pasta instead of linguine. Ina, another recipe to add to my growing collection of Barefoot Contessa recipes. Thank you!! "

I just finished having this for dinner. This is absolutely delicious!! I had to adjust the recipe because I was the only one having this. I did not have Pernod or prosciutto; did not substitute for either and I used Riesling instead of dry white wine. Cooked the scallops for an extra five minutes because I added a few extra (for my version of one "

Made this recipe using my slow cooker and cooked the meat for 7 1/2 hours to make sure it would be tender and be able to be "pulled" apart. Well, there was no "pull"ing it apart; had to slice it instead. Also, after tasting this to see how it was, I was disappointed. It was way too spicy (and I've had spicy food before). Except for using the slow "

OMG!!! This is delicious!!! I had chicken thighs so I used them instead of a whole chicken and followed the directions given. I made the sweet potatoes for myself and roasted regular potatoes for my sons. Cooked the thighs for about 50 minutes; the skin crisped up and the meat was so moist. This is a meal that will definitely be made again and ag...

Simply put--OMG!! Absolutely delicious. Made this for dinner tonight and was not disappointed. As with all of Ina's recipes that I have made, this is another home run. I did not find a beef chuck roast, so I bought a bottom round roast. The meat was so tender. The only thing I did not add was the cognac but that wouldn't make a difference in the ...

Just made this and all I can say is "delicious." Not difficult to make and has lots of flavor. I added a little bit more lemon juice than what's called for and all the flavors still came through. Attention Food Network Website Personnel: The picture at the end of this recipe is NOT Linguine with Shrimp Scampi; it looks like some kind of baked dish...

I wanted to do something different with eggs other than the usual fare and found this recipe. I didn't have an herb-flavored cheese so I put in a little bit of shredded mozzarella. OMG! Even with the change in cheese, this tastes so good. As another reviewer stated, who would think that adding peas would taste good. Well it does!!

Made this last night; tasted really good. Will definitely make this again. Take note: the glaze is strong as it cooks but after you add the butter it mellows out. This meal is great for when you're not sure of what to make for dinner or are short on time to prepare something good.
