My Activity

Reviewed Linguine with Shrimp Scampi

"Excellent!! Very tasty and easy to make. I cut the recipe in half because my sons don't like seafood and the only substitution I made was to use angel hair pasta instead of linguine. Ina, another recipe to add to my growing collection of Barefoot Contessa recipes. Thank you!! "

Reviewed Bay Scallop Gratin

"I just finished having this for dinner. This is absolutely delicious!! I had to adjust the recipe because I was the only one having this. I did not have Pernod or prosciutto; did not substitute for either and I used Riesling instead of dry white wine. Cooked the scallops for an extra five minutes because I added a few extra (for my version of one "

Reviewed Barbecued Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Homemade BBQ Sauce, Cole Slaw, and Fried Pickles

"Made this recipe using my slow cooker and cooked the meat for 7 1/2 hours to make sure it would be tender and be able to be "pulled" apart. Well, there was no "pull"ing it apart; had to slice it instead. Also, after tasting this to see how it was, I was disappointed. It was way too spicy (and I've had spicy food before). Except for using the slow "

Reviewed Honey-Butter Baked Chicken with Mashed Sweet Potatoes

"OMG!!! This is delicious!!! I had chicken thighs so I used them instead of a whole chicken and followed the directions given. I made the sweet potatoes for myself and roasted regular potatoes for my sons. Cooked the thighs for about 50 minutes; the skin crisped up and the meat was so moist. This is a meal that will definitely be made again and aga""

Reviewed Company Pot Roast

"Simply put--OMG!! Absolutely delicious. Made this for dinner tonight and was not disappointed. As with all of Ina's recipes that I have made, this is another home run. I did not find a beef chuck roast, so I bought a bottom round roast. The meat was so tender. The only thing I did not add was the cognac but that wouldn't make a difference in the o""

Reviewed Linguine with Shrimp Scampi

"Just made this and all I can say is "delicious." Not difficult to make and has lots of flavor. I added a little bit more lemon juice than what's called for and all the flavors still came through. Attention Food Network Website Personnel: The picture at the end of this recipe is NOT Linguine with Shrimp Scampi; it looks like some kind of baked dish with sauce. Perhaps you could correct this mistake. Also, this recipe is listed not once, not twice, but FOUR TIMES!! The cooking time listed for one is 15 mins.; the other three are 10 mins. We only need the recipe listed once. Thanks. "
