Replied to Beignets Recipe : Food Network

your oil was too hot and the outside was done cooking before the inside had a chance to cook. lower the temp of your oil next time. (she say's to heat the oil to 350 degrees)

This was sooo good. As many others, I made a few changes. Because of my personal preference, I did not use the mustard. Also, in place of the oil, I used duck fat that I had rendered when I made duck for our Christmas eve dinner. I think that really added a nice undertone of flavor. Besides these changes, I followed the recipe the best I could. The...

I';ve been making something like this for years. The way I do it is cook the noodles separately, mix them with the ground beef (or pork), add a bit of soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger paste (out of the tube). As soon as your meat is done cooking, it all comes together quite fast. I love to make this when I just don';t feel like cooking. I...

I tried this and it was awesome! One thing that might be confusing is that the recipe ingredients are listed out of order. And the directions do not mention how to use the mayo (I assumed that you add it to the blender with the rest of the items). These 2 things might be a bit confusing for the novice cook. Either way, great recipe!"

This was a great recipe! I seasoned my wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and some adobo seasoning and let marinate for about 3 hours. I threw all the sauce ingredients (plus about a tbsp of sesame seeds, and an additional tbsp of garlic) in a saucepan and brought to a boil, then turned down to a simmer. After marinating, I cooked the wings...

I'm not the biggest fan of Paula's, but when I saw this recipe I was very intrigued. It came out perfect! Not too eggy in the middle, which has always been my main reason for not being the biggest fan of most bread puddings. I halved the recipe, didn't add the fruit and added a bit extra condensed milk. The rum sauce was great...will def make it ...

I loved this meatloaf. The only thing I changed was I decreased the amount of Thyme. BTW...don't rate the recipe if A)) you haven't made it yet. And B)) you changed it to fit your preferences and it didn't turn out well for you.

You 'pre' viewers drive me crazy!"

This is a great recipe! I'm sure it would be even better if eaten at the restaurant...on their grill, but this is awesome made in your house also!

Wow George, why so bitter? Lighten up dude...take a chance, and YOU make the decision of what type of chorizo to use. I'm sure any type would be fab! "

I followed the recipe exactly, but I did not like these ribs. I'm used to *almost* fall off the bone tender ribs. These were no where close to having a bit of tenderness. Also, the liquid and rub left much to be desired. I'll continue with cooking in the crock pot and finishing on the grill.

I do love Alton though! I believe this...

This was pretty good and very moist. A bit too much nutmeg and cinnamon in my opinion, but that's just a personal preference. I didn't have a problem whatsoever with it bubbling over...maybe the reviewers that had that problem didn't use 2 loaf pans. I would have made the same mistake if I hadn't read the reviews, as I only scanned over the recipe"
