It was fantastic. The flavors really blend well. Omit the salt if you want since the salmon is already on the salty side.

What you should ALWAYS do whenever you pur���e those types of chiles is pour them through a strainer or sieve. Of course the blended chiles have a watery texture. The mixture should not be too dry or too watery either. The flavors are fantastic and you have a silky smooth texture.

This was fantastic!!! It was a bit involved but the end result was amazing. I will definitely make it again. I used less of the hot sauce than what was asked for, fearing it would be too spicy, but it was not spicy at all. Next time, I will totally use all the sauce the recipe asks for.

I've made this dish several times now and it turns out delicious every time. It is fantastic. I always double the sauce recipe. It is truly one of the best chicken recipes that Ina has. I buy the small Cognac bottle so it isn't too horribly expensive.

Omg! This was delicious!! The tastiest sole recipe by far.

Super easy to prepare, I had all the ingredients in my kitchen already.

The one thing I'll do differently next time (and there will be a next time), is use *unsalted* butter instead of the regular butter. The recipe didn't specify so I used salted but...

The spices were great but the 12 minutes were not enough for the chicken to cook through. The exterior was black (someone mentioned the spices were the ones that burned) but it didn't taste burnt, actually.

I had to put mine in the oven for about half an hour extra because it was still raw in the middle, and it was only thighs...
