I loooove to cook! Owning a collection of cookbooks and watching cooking shows, since I can remember, has taught me how to be creative in the kitchen. As a kid, my mom used to cook the same things over and over again partly because it allowed her to keep to a strict budget with four children and part because she never really explored in the kitchen beyond the basics. The old "spice of life" cliche is symbolic to me for soo many things especially with cooking. Varieties of food, flavors, ways to prepare the basic to the finest cuisines. Ethnic and religious cuisines that serve many of the same vegetables, breads, fruits, and spices that I already use; but in their own unique way. I like taking a fantastic recipe and making it into something spectacular! To me, of course. ;-)
Too many to list.
