Great recipe. I am a 'color' person, so I added some baby spinach to the filling. I didn't have panko so used regular bread crumbs, will make sure I have panko on hand next time, and there will be a next time! I didn't serve with any kind of sauce, my husband wants a sauce :) I thought it was great as is (I served on a bed of arugula tossed in...

The picture shows capers, but there is no mention of it in the recipe. As I do many times, I meld recipes...did the chicken the way Giada did it (dredged in flour, no egg or bread crumb)....used wine as Ina calls for, I think that is a must. And of course, added capers. Super easy and delicious, great week night meal. I also use this recipe with...

Simple, yet incredible! Am always looking to add to my holiday cookie repertoire and this caught my eye because it was not labor intensive. I made recipe as is, but did add 1/2 tsp salt because many reviews talked about how sweet these were. They are incredible (they remind me of Mrs. Fields White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies, but better). Great...

Replied to White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Thanks, wouldn't have thought about the salt but will definitely add as well...most of my beloved cookie recipes call for salt. Maybe Trisha thinks the macadamia nuts have enough salt, but probably can't hurt to throw a scant 1/2 tsp in!

Let it meld!!! I followed the recipe exactly and it was just ok the first night, and way better the next day. As mentioned, I followed the recipe exactly, however with that being said I plan to make some changes next time I make it. 1). There were way too many pearl onions for me, I'm not a huge fan anyways and 1 lb was just too many. I would...

Good. Not Great. I made as is, but per reviews doubled the dressing and glad I did. Not sure what it was, but the dressing was missing something? Just didn't blow me away. Maybe as others mentioned, the red wine was too overpowering, I was hoping the dressing would be more bacon-y. Oh well, will read other recipes and try to come up with one"

Very good recipe. And as far as potato salad goes, fairly easy. I didn't have white potatoes, so used the small red ones I had on hand (and left skin on). I love dill, so loved the flavor of the fresh dill with the mustard. Nice subtle twist on the classic potato salad. It won't disappoint."

After reading the recipe, it reminded me of the dessert we had at a classic Lobster Bake near Boothbay Harbor, Maine. I may have passed this recipe by a few years ago thinking "boring", not enough goo and no chocolate. But now, oh wow! This was great. As with so many of Ina's recipes, simple ingredients that come together so eloquently.

Per usual for Ina, an easy recipe with simple ingredients that tastes great! I made per the recipe except I used red grapes (instead of green) because I had the red on hand and like to use up left over food. You wouldn't need to change a thing with this recipe, though you could if you wanted to experiment. May add some type of onion (scallions "

Liked this stoup a lot. Love soups in the winter and always looking for one to add to the rotation. I was trying to cut down a bit on the fat/meat, so only used 1 lb of meat, but thought for our taste it was fine. Other than that, followed recipe. Again, very good, next time I may up the spices just a bit and may even add some caraway seeds--I"

Soup was very good. Made a few revisions 1) no corn or potatoes, trying to watch sugar/starch 2) Added 2 celery stalks chopped w/ the leeks 3) added sweet potato in place of white potato and 4) added chopped kale. It's a very good soup and other than the additions or deletions of veggies I tried to follow the recipe regarding herbs/spices/flavor"

Dec 28, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This is a basic, but very good dip. Brought to my brother in laws for Xmas, and they have a big crowd so I doubled the recipe. I ran into a few problems with that because of the quantity in the food processor (and ended up having to puree the artichoke hearts/spinach longer than I would have liked, was going for the rustic/chunkier dip). Great fresh recipe for an old stand by taco dip! The freshly pureed black beans (vs. refried beans from can), the fresh lime juice, fresh cilantro all contribute to make the classic dip appetizer worthy of any party or celebration.
