Absolutely a huge hit! I used my own sauce since I wouldn't risk such a good meat with a jarred sauce. I also added the same wine used to cook the short ribs in my sauce so it brought the two together. And, a lot more work, but for guests and so much nice, I made my own pasta...melted in my mouth! Really a wonderful recipe. Will probably make around...

I wish this wasn't made with a cake mix. It just seems wrong that a cookie from scratch would include cake mix. Why not just use ingredients needed instead of wimping out with a box?
