Reviewed Potsie's Creamed Chicken and Biscuits Casserole

"I read the reviews and thought about adding veggies to the recipe, but decided to follow it exactly this first time. My only change was to make my own biscuits. EVERYONE loved it! I thought it just a little heavy, but no one else did. They suggested that I don't change a thing when I make it again. Thanks, for a great recipe!"

Reviewed Toasted Pound Cake with Citrus Cream

"It was wonderful! I did make a couple of changes, I used half of the zest and increased the sugar to 1/2 cup. I toasted the pound cake on my griddle and omited the honey. Soooo Good! It was good with warm or cooled pound cake. ""

About Me

I am newly reitred after more than 35 years at my company. I was a female in a traditionally male job. I installed and maintained phone systems in businesses. When I worked the Olympics in Atlanta, NBC wanted to take me back with them to NYC to cook for them, since I made several things and shared while working with them.
I have been doing a lot more cooking and baking and enjoying new recipes. I love to bake desserts. It's just me so I share them with my neighbor and my children's families.
I have started teaching my daughter-in-law. Our next lesson will be what I am famous, for "My" coconut cake. Very few have I shared that recipe with. My son doesn't like coconut, yet this is his favorite cake!
I guess I should have been a baker like my oldest sibling!
