A delicious Beef Stroganoff! I wish I had read about adding herbs/spices/garlic before cooking it tonight. I used red wine for degrazing the pans and the color of the sauce was purple, as commented below. Will use white wine next time. Only complaint is that my meat was tough - used sirloin as suggested. Any ideas for tender meat? "

Took this appetizer to a neighbor's cookout. I advised the group that I found this new recipe when looking for an appetizer using fresh asparagus. I followed the recipe and reviews, adding the lime juice and processing the mixture into small chucks and served it with Stacy's pita chips. The vote was a NO for liking it and the leftover was pitched...
