I have been cooking my Rib eye steaks like this for years! ( I have been brought up using a cast iron skillet) Only thing I do differently is; I put Balsamic Vinegar on mine while coming to room temp. Best steak ever! Far better than any grilled steak. The only way my husband wants it. Only thing different for me is, he only wants my steaks! LOL...
