"This is a very good recipe, but I would just say know your palate!!! I grew up in a household that was salt-free, the only salt we just if we absolutlety had to was kosher salt but in very small amounts. With that said I still wanted to try this recipe cause I love Ina's recipes and salmon is always good. My modifications were: 3/4 cup of low sodium soy sauce the other fourth cup I used water, and basically every other ingredient that contained a lot of sodium i used about half of (oyster sauce, fish sauce, etc). I liked the recipe this way, the salt was not overpowering at all, I made it for my grandmother and she loved it, even took some home!! Also if you want the top to be crispy I'd advise putting it on broil for like 2 minutes. For my own preference I might take out a little more sodium next time by using a half a cup of soy sauce and a half a cup of water hopefully this doesnt compromise the recipe!!Just know your palate folks!!"

"I was rather disappointed with this recipe for several reasons. First I found it very bland. Second I didnt get much sauce when I made it and I followed it to the t. I think I would have loved this recipe with a little more sauce, cheese, and possibly chicken. I will try it again because its a real fresh idea however I will use more cheeses and chicken.

"If you a nutty flavor this is for you, however if you dont (like myself) the recipe is still pretty good. The cheese and chicken add a different flavor so that your not focused on the almond sauce.

"Loved this cheesecake! I try a different cheesecake every thanksgiving and this was the one I choose last year and it was a hit. It's a lighter cheesecake (if that's possible) with the fresh berries on top. My recommendations: prepare the cheesecake the night before and do not add the berries until just about ready to serve to avoid having the berry sauce saturate through the cheesecake. Also if you desire a lighter cheesecake I mixed regular cream cheese and 1/3 less fat cream cheese together to make it healthier but still palatable.

"I made this for thanksgiving last year and I will definetly be making it again this year because it was a huge success. The combination of the pears and apples is delicious and who doesn't love a crisp topping! I have yet to try one of her recipes that disappointed me!
