My Activity

Reviewed Strawberry Sparkle Cake

"I gave this recipe 5 stars because of its magnificent flavor, although I do believe the directions are wrong. I am an avid baker/cook. I instinctively knew that 2-1/2 cups of water PLUS the 1 lb. container of frozen strawberries would make it way to watery. I used the quick set method - 3/4 cup boiling water, 1/2 cold water abd the FROZEN strawb"

Reviewed Vegetarian Chili

"I'm going to try this veggie chili. Not many recipes out there for vegetarians like myself. I'm sure this will be good.""

Reviewed Linguine with Shrimp Scampi

"This was DELICIOUS. Tasted just like in a restaurant. This recipe is definitely a keeper. The only thing I would do different next time is make a little extra of the sauce. I felt like I need a little more for my linguine. I made it for the family but basically ended up eating it all myself!""

Reviewed Caesar Pasta Salad

"I haven't made this yet, but I plan on changing it up a bit. I'm going to add chicken breast cubes instead of the croutons (which I think will get soggy and then add crumbled bacon on top, topped with parmesan cheese, grape tomatoes and parsley for color. It would look extra pretty in a bowl lined with lettuce leaves...YUM!
