This recipe came out really good, except it was too salty. I also think the red wine didn't do much for it, it actually make it taste weird for me.

If I were to make it again, I would use my own home made sodium free chicken stock and I'd omit red wine. Otherwise, this recipe works really well and I loved how the mash potatoes...

So flavorful and rich! I didn't use chicken bones and such because I didn't have it on hand. So what I did instead is I bought 4 packs of turkey necks and it still came out amazing.

The roasting part of this recipe is a must. It really condenses the flavor and it makes a rich stock, otherwise it would be a boring broth.
