Reviewed Iny's Prune Cake with Buttermilk Icing

This cake is outrageously good! I did add 1/2 tsp salt to the cake after reading previous reviews, and a pinch of salt to the icing. It is a pretty ugly cake, but it tastes great. I will not make it again unless there are more people in the house. I was afraid I would eat it all!!

Easy. Tasty. I did spread some Dijon on the bread before laying down the prosciutto, and served it as an appetizer with a dip of apricot preserves warmed with some minced shallot and balsamic vinegar. A hit with everyone. I would not want to eat this processed bread dough very often, but as an occasional thing it made an easy fix. "
