When I rolled out the pastry, it was hard to keep it perfectly square (I'm a terrible roller), so it looks a little rustic, but who cares, it's amazingly delicious."

"Sublime. This is my first skillet cornbread and it could not have come out any better. It was easy and is impressive. I was concerned about the bread sticking to the skilled because my skillet is that that well seasoned, but there's so much butter in this recipe, I think that would be pretty impossible. The cast iron skillet is so versatile and inexpensive. Cannot wait to try some other cast iron skillet baking.
