Mine turned out very dry. They tasted good when they were right out of the oven but then turned hard and dry. My guest ate them because food is food but it really needs a dipping sauce. I don't think I will make them again."

I have made this several times for entertaining and it is always a hit. Best part is that I can prep it the night before, leave it in the fridge and then pop it in the oven just before my guest arrive. People beg me for this receipe which I glady supply. I also serve Tricia's receipe for hot corn dip which is a bit more mexican so it is nice to "

It pains me to say this because I love Tricia's receipes but this one was just ok. After the way it looked on TV I thought it would be incredible. The rice was very good but the Pork was blah. I was afraid it would not be very good because lets face it many of the g-free items are just not the same. These were great! It worked well because my mother in-law is allergic to chocolate and my husband is gluten "

Ok. I confess this may be user error. The ends game out shriveled and the part underneath the bacon was mushy. My mother in-law was running late for Christmas eve so I did keep them on low in the oven to stay warm. My warning would be that if you try this make sure that the cooking time is perfect. It was not very forgiving."

I made this for Christmas Eve. I thought that it would be too much for 5 people and it was so good we ate the whole thing. The only problem is that we filled up on it so much my guests didn't eat much of the dinner. Easy prep and I can't think of anything negative to say. I am making it again for New Years."
