"I thought I'd find the old recipe with Paula Deen. I'm not too impressed with the corn syrup, and I use usually use heavy cream. I guess she used half and half because of the more common availability. I'm not riskin my nuts on this one!

Reviewed Slow Cooked Winter Bread Pudding with Dried Pears

"I haven't tried this, but this recipe sounds like the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Stale bread half and half 4 hours on low heat = grandma really sick for the holidays. I'm sure it tastes great though!
