I needed some biscuits this morning for my ailing daughter...
Bsides me not letting them rest for 15 minutes (which I think would have led to a better rise) these were light and fluffy. They looked harder than bricks when I took them out the oven, but they were quite the oposite. I will let them rise the next time for 15 minutes. I also us"
"I had every ingrediant for this recipe except the brandy. Followed it to the letter and it still turned out really good. My kids (18,14,11) picky, picky, picky. They Love it!
I think the brandy would have given it a whole other taste for me, but my family enjoyed it."
