Reviewed 4-Hour Lamb

Feb 19, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

For the most part, I followed the recipe. As others suggested I dropped the amount of rosemary and thyme to approx. 7 sprigs. I still believe the amount of rosemary overpowers the lamb. The garlic was not too much. The wine and 2 cups of chicken (instead of water) stock did not come together as a pot roast liquid or a pot au feu would. I cooked th"

I followed the recipe, however didn't use butternut squash. I used the salt, butter and stock, saffron amounts as indicated. I thought they were just right. It probably took another 10 minutes extra for the risotto to cook thoroughly."

So, I used store chicken stock and at first had only 20 oz of peas, oops math error added the next 10 oz , used a blender, crispy prosciutto on top and Cascadian farms peas. Awesome. Really quick to throw together. I simmered for a little longer 20 min, but that could be because of my late add. Ina once again rocks it."

Oct 14, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Followed recipe, however i took the advice of others and marinated it for 1 and 1/2 hours. The skewers turned out perfectly. Moist and the satay sauce was great - although it seemed a little oily perhaps that was the peanut butter I used. I made more chicken and still had tons of sauce left over."

I used salmon instead of tuna. Otherwise I followed the recipe to a t. Had friends over for dinner and have made it for family get togethers-even the teenagers now young men request this. A superlative endorsement for a fish dish. Presents really beautifully. French potato salad is awesome, and I tend to dress the entire dish with just that porti"
