Reviewed Pommes De Terre a la Boulangere: Potatoes a la Bakery

"I skip the butter, use try-color potatoes, substitute stock for the broth and mix the thyme into the onions. I also double the recipe (its that good). I've also found it takes longer than 3 hours to cook in my oven. You have to be patient, but its so worth it. ""

Reviewed Apple Cheddar Hand Pies

"These were a big hit among my friends!

I used Granny Smiths instead of the Golden Delicious and a REALLY sharp cheddar. I also went without the maple glaze by accident- but no one seemed to miss it.

They're pretty quick to make and the recipe is easy to follow.
