I am a Omnivore but it is easy for me to get turned off from meat. Mostly if I chew a texture that is not expected, grizzle, runny scrambled egg, bits of bone in sausage, etc.= BLEH! Sometimes bi products as well, I usually have almond/ coconut milk in the refridge.
A pet peeve of mine is going to a dinner party where the host does not know how to use a charcoal grill! Steaks are burned to a crisp/still purple and or everyone is starving because the BBQer forgot to let the coals turn grey first.
Propane has zero flavor, especially when veggies or fruit are on the grill.
I love trying new recipes! My goal is to have a better habit of cooking a large dinner that will satisfy my boyfriend,with enough left overs for us both to have a sack lunch the next day. Thankfully he has been open to a lot of my veggie ideas and loves my breakfast tofu tacos with black beans, spaghetti squash with shrooms & tomato sauce, and of course banana pancakes.
I have a huge sweet tooth. My favorite recipie so far this year I've made are my angel food cupcakes. haha it was my first time making angel food from scratch annnd I wasn't sure they could be made into cupcakes but it was a fun experiment! Thats the science nerd in me, I didn't mind the bottoms were a little more "golden brown" than the rest!
Favorite food is ice cream or frozen yogurt. Just about any kind, any time of year!
The best restaurant is now about 200 miles away its in the heart of Texas in Austin. Kerby Lane Cafe has the most wonderful menu items that vary from vegan queso to... I don't know, Buffalo enchiladas with a side of their organic gluten free strawberry pancakes! It doesn't matter what you feel a hankering for because everything is delicious and no request is too strange.
