Not only is it easy but the flavor is soooo fresh and bright! I made a bigger batch and was able to freeze (it unthawed equally well). I've made this several times but haven't always used the fennel. That turned out just fine as well. I would bet it'd be good on fish too!"

I didn't have time to make the horseradish topping but I'm sure it'll only be even better with it. This is somewhat time-consuming in the beginning to flour and brown the beef but it's worth it. I didn't even simmer it the 2 hours that the recipe called for. The pearl onions were a little much and I'll probably replace them next time with leeks...
