Reviewed Honey-Mustard Chicken and Apples

Jan 20, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This was great! I used Jonagold apples and they were delicious with the sauce. I used only 4 thighs, so the sauce ratio was fine. Like others I mixed dijon and honey (2:1) for the honey mustard. I will definitely make this again!

These were super easy and good. The only reason I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is just personal preference. These turn out a little blonde and milky instead of the dark cooked sugar that I prefer."

Reviewed Creamy Lemon-Pepper Orzo with Grilled Chicken

Apr 28, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was a great dish. I did season up the chicken a bit more (using garlic pepper and some of the lemon zest) before cooking. I used 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cooked them stovetop in my cast iron. I also didn't have any fresh herbs so I used garlic and herb goat cheese. Turned out great!"

This dish was easy and tasty! I used Dijon mustard (mustard type wasn';t specified) which blended well with the wine in the sauce. I would like to make this again using the horseradish variation (even though DH doesn';t like horseradish and it has mysteriously disappeared from the fridge--coincidence? I think not.) We served this with ...

This dish was good- quick and easy too (props for using just one skillet). I may make again with some modification. The rosemary was just too overpowering, which I realize may just be personal preference. Even with 1" chops this cooked fairly quickly (we like our pork on the med/med-well side) so the garlic and rosemary didn';t really have ...

This dish was fantastic! Seriously, lick the plate-worthy! The ingredients came together to make a wonderfully rich and savory flavor. I used 6 chicken thighs and smoked paprika (the recipe didn';t specify what kind to use). We will definitely make this dish again! Made for PAC Spring 2013."

Reviewed Stuffed Chicken Divan with a Sherry Dijon Sauce

Mar 13, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was tasty enough. I wish I'd looked at some of the other reviews/suggestions. I had leftover filling and ended up mixing that into the sauce. I browned the chicken in my cast iron skillet and that could go directly under the broiler (so many dishes in this recipe!) The broiling gave the chicken a flavorful crust. Overall, it was good, esp"

Reviewed Banana-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Dec 23, 2012 in null on Food.com

These were good and all the better for their easiness. I had 4 bananas that I need to use so I went ahead and threw them all in. That change worked just fine. I gave it 4 stars because they were a bit too sweet for me (and I have a loud sweet tooth) and the cooking time was a bit long, but that may just be my oven. Next time I will cut the ad...

This is quick and easy and I always have the ingredients on hand. I did start with an 8 oz can of tomato sauce and supplemented with a couple Tbsp of ketchup. It still wasn't "sloppy" enough, so I doubled all the other sauce ingredients proportionally."

The flavor of these was just what I was looking for, just bitter and sweet enough to complement the Guinness. However, even with the changes suggested to make them more 'fudgey' (3 eggs, 30 min) this still seemed more like a cake to me."
