This breading has GREAT flavor. I didn't have any buttermilk so I substituted sour milk (combine 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice and let sit for about 5 minutes). Also instead of making the whole batch of house seasoning I just broke it down to roughly 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder. It's not exact but...easier...
