Reviewed Cocoa Brownies

While these were the best tasting brownies I've ever made, I will make some adjustments next time. I will bake them in a 9x13 pan and I will wait longer to 1)remove them from the pan(even with the parchment paper and 2) wait longer before cutting them. I made them tonight in an 8x8 pan and the brownies are very dense. "

I changed the recipe up a bit using the cake mix, a small amount of additional sugar, flour, baking powder, buttermilk, vanilla, melted butter and meringue powder, along with the powdered drink mix and lemon zest. I made the icing without any changes. It tasted good, but I'm not sure I would make this cake again. It is a little tart but not overwh"
