Reviewed Braised Lamb Shanks

I traditionally don't care for lamb but some of my guest do and since I wanted to make a dish to impress I thought I'd give this a try. OMG! The family and my guest went wild over this dish!
I even liked it which is rare for me since I don't care for lamb.
I bet you could make this with just about any meat and it'd turn out good....

I was very impressed on how easy and tasty this recipe was. The flavor was just as good if not better than any of the Greek places I go.
I'm not a huge lamb lover so I split my meat in half with 1 lb of lamb and 1 lb of lean hamburger meat.
Ii kept in over night in the frig but did have one issue when I placed it on the rotisserie....

Not to bad and my guests seemed to enjoy it. I did spike it to make it a bit hotter and I usually like mine with a more tomato mixture.
I'll use this recipie again but I'll probably play with it a bit more to suit my palet.

I thought the batter turned out just right and the flavor of the chile releeno was good. The sauce was easy to make and tasted "different" but in a good way. I'm pretty sure it was the cinnimon that gave it that "hummm,,, what is that" taste. my guests enjoyed the meal.
Over all it wasn't bad but I wasn't blown away like some of the others...

Wow,,,, this type of food isn't normally my choice but I have to tell you it was delish. All of my guests loved it and so did I. The first night I put it over mashed potatoes and then the next day we put it over pasta.
It was even better the second night.

I love avocado's and think Emeril is great however this recipe is not that good. Only one person at the party thought it was good and the rest of us were not impressed. It wasn't horrible but most certainly not tasty.
No disrespect..... this is only my opinion and those at my dinner party. "

I'm not big on teriyaki so I made my own marinade for the beef. I did however make the dipping sauce and OMG was it the best ever!
