I did these a little different. I actually cooked my burger in a pan with canola oil.. strange as it may seem, the oil charred the outside of the burger and made a really nice crust, while cooking it in the pan in its own juices rendered a more moist burger. Then I used American cheese instead, a pinch of fresh cilantro, and used an onion bun. ...
