I own a small bed and breakfast in the mountains of Costa Rica. I'm originally from the US, having lived in Seattle for many years. Also lived in Australia for a while.
My favorite cookbook is not possible to choose because there are so many of quality, but I am particular about them. I especially like LaRousse Gastronomique, anything by Alice Waters, Jerry Traunfeld, or Tom Collichio, and Fine Cooking magazine.
Favorite Foods
Grilled sweetbreads, foie gras, lamb fixed just about any way, and green salad dressed with truffle oil viniagrette.I LOVE to cook. It is truly my passion. I'm not the best at it, but that doesn't stop me.
My favorite restaurant is Gramercy Tavern. No, wait--it's a tie. I also love Inn at Little Washington.
