About Me

I love food and I love cooking. I don't love cooking all the time and yeah, I do love to go out to eat. But when I do cook, I'm absorbed. Cooking is relaxing for me. I enjoy listening to a pot of water building up to a boil, it's neat to watch a pot of soup blend and mix together, I love the smell of sauteeing onion. Brewing coffee is simplicity at its finest. It's exciting to try new recipes. Most of the time they come out successfully. Other times, I just have to laugh all the way to the garbage can. But failures in the kitchen don't intimidate me and I'll just go back and try something else. My most beloved kitchen tool is my electric can opener.
