Reviewed crispy chicken strips

Jul 29, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Made these tonight and boy they do not disappoint! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. I used boneless skinless chicken breast, fileted and cut into strips. The secret is definitely mixing some buttermilk in with the flour. Next time, going to change up the spices but this is a definite go-to fried chicken recipe! Thanks Ree!

Reviewed lemon cake

This has to be the best lemon cake by far of any I've ever made. I cut the recipe in half to make one loaf and it never disappoints. It's easy, quick and delicious. I don't bother with the glaze as the cake with the syrup is delicious on it's own. My whole family loves it! Ina you rock!!!

This is one of my go-to recipes! I use a dry white wine in place of the vermouth and it tastes absolutely delicious! I use the technique and flavor base for a lot of other recipes. It works with so many different things! Thanks Rachael!"

Very tasty cookie, quick and easy to make. Dough was a bit crumbly so I kneaded it until it held together. I'll know better next time to mix it longer in the stand mixer."

Reviewed Crispy-Skinned Chicken a l'Orange

Not thrilled with this one at all. Followed the recipe but 15 minutes in the oven? Hardly. Mine took 50 minutes (the chicken breasts I used were the same size as the ones Melissa had on the show, and my oven is calibrated correctly). I thought the orange taste was harsh. Next time I'll apply the same technique using honey mustard."

Made this tonight. The crust is out of this world! Followed the recipe exactly, apples were dry and needed more sugar and spice (the Granny Smith's I used were small but fit perfectly in the crust. Needs something at the end of baking to moisten the apples. Will try again with apple preserves. For the most part, it's a really good, quick easy reci"

This dish is amazing! Great flavor, with quite a kick! Love that the coconut flavor is not over shadowed by the diced tomatoes. I used 5 boneless skinless chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts so the meat would stay tender and moist. Will definitely make this again."

Reviewed Roasted Pork Loin

Mar 26, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Made this recently. My husband and son went nuts over it. The loin was tender and juicy and full of flavor. I might cut back a bit on the wine next time, and substitute 1/4 with chicken stock. ""

These muffins are great! Lots of blueberries in every bite! Didn't have any lemon zest but they were good just the same. Mine took longer than 25 minutes, I just left them in the oven until they were golden brown. Delicious warm! Very easy recipe.""

These don't last in my house! When I brought them to work, my co-workers said they were the best brownies they've ever eaten! I really worked the peanut butter so it was creamy smooth and easier to run through the brownie mix in the pan. The coffee really enhances the chocolate. I use instant coffee in every chocolate recipe I have. Thanks for the...
