This recipe was amazing! The egg salad pairs great with this dish...I did make a few tweaks to it though - added an egg, some celery, sugar, and a dash of white balsamic vinegar. I will definitely be putting this on the menu again!"

This was a very good treat. It paired well with the lemon chicken soup recipe of Giada's. This would be more of a once and a while sides, but definitely good. My sister, who hates peas, actually liked it lol"

Reviewed Lemon Chicken Soup with Spaghetti

Sep 27, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I thought that this soup was absolutely delicious. I followed the advice from other reviews and added extra veggies, like celery etc. I also cut down on the amount of lemon juice. I could definitely see where other reviewers were coming from that if I used the full amount of lemon it would have been wayy to overpowering. My family loved and my"

This recipe was quick and delicious!! I will definitely be making again! I used cream cheese instead of mascarpone, because I had it at home already. With the left overs, I added some extra marinara sauce and spinach, and some meatballs and put over pasta. Overall, a really great meal!"

This meal all-together was not something that I plan on making again. However, I loved the flavor of the chicken with the spices used. So I will definitely do the chicken like that again, but on the grill next time."

Reviewed Penne with Butternut Squash and Goat Cheese

Mar 26, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I followed this recipe exactly and loved it!! I agree with other reviews that you could use less goat cheese when serving hot, but I would use the full amount if you are going to being eating it at room temp for a picnic or something(it really dries up on the pasta). I personally liked it better cool.""

Reviewed Grilled Corn and Cheese Cakes

Mar 23, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

After reading the reviews, I decided to make a few changes. I used Italian flavored breadcrumbs instead of plain and used green onion instead of chives; with these changes it was a big hit and had a lot of flavor. I will definetly be making this again. The only negative is that they fall apart very easily when cooking, definetly need to make i...

Reviewed Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Mar 22, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I loved this recipe, it was super easy and tasted great! I only used about 1 tbs of butter after reading the reviews and it worked out perfectly. It was a bit crumbly so next time I make these bars I am going to add extra peanut butter to hold it together better.""
