About Me

I've had a lifelong love of cooking and enjoy cooking both healthy and comforting foods. I try to find a balance! I love cooking for my kids and others and nothing gives me greater joy than knowing I can create something meaningful and nourishing for my loved ones!

I lived many years in Central America and enjoy cooking using some of the skills I learned while living there, including cooking fresh and from scratch - something that is really dying with the middle class but hopefully will make a comeback there and here in the U.S. I am interested in organics, the slow food movement, and trying new recipes!
