"WOW!!! what a great recipe and so delicious!! it actually tastes better as the days go by and all the seasonings marinate. i loved this recipe, i bought the larger size shrimp, and i am glad i used this size..i thought roasting the shrimp in the oven gave an excellent flavor and texture. i made a note that this recipe yields a very large amount.."

Reviewed Cherry, Almond and Cinnamon Granola

"i thought was such a worthwhile recipe....it's simple, and DELICIOUS without all the junk of a commercially made granola. being an aspiring vegetarian and the mother of a teenage vegetarian, i am always looking for good things to make at home for us to eat that are not only nutricious but delicious. love this recipe!! and it makes a generous amount too. thank you, Ina! i am going to make the homemade granola bars next week for sure."

Reviewed Shrimp Scampi

"i will have to try this recipe again. at first glance it looked pretty simple, but with only a minute to do this and a minute to do that i got it pretty well messed up. i was able to make something that was tasty but it wasn't probably as good as it would have been if i could have followed this recipe correctly. my sauce blackened and started to burn, i had to add more vermouth and butter. i couldn't find my grater, which is why the sauce burned, so i chopped up lemmon rind, so the lemon taste was bitter. i will try this again and will be better prepared the next time.

"i made this chicken and my family really liked it a lot. i left off the bacon because my daughter and i don't eat pork and didn't make the gravy because i am counting calories. i really don't like roast chicken, i eat it because my family likes it for dinner. in spite of that this was a very flavorful recipe and it made my whole house smell like my grandmother's kitchen. just for that memory alone it was worth making. i'm sure the bacon and the gravy would make a huge difference.
