Reviewed Roasted Potato Leek Soup
"Wonderfully tasty. Very filling and re-heats well. I'm made it two more times since I first tried this a month ago. My "guinea" pigs loved it too. I think the touch of white wine is what distinguishes this soup.
"Not a success story. Not a good soup for leeks. Fingerling potatoes worked much better than russet and they can't be potato chip thin. I had some left over and used them up rather than more russet. Glad I did. Would not make this a 2nd time even with the suggestions for improvemnt.
I love to cook and am always willing to try new reicpes. I have a group of friends that are willing to eat whatever it is I prepare. Having said that, it is really diappointing when they aren't very good.
