My Activity

Reviewed Smoky Pork Burgers with Apple and Onion Chutney

"Love Giada's recipes however this was not very tasty at all. The burgers were bland and dry however the chutney was delish! My family always requests the remaking of Giada's recipes but this one they gave a very emphatic hands down! Sorry Giada!"

Reviewed Salmon in Lemon Brodetto with Pea Puree

"I adore Giada's recipes but this just didn't get if for me. The pureed peas were a gorgeous green with a very garlic flavor and the salmon perfectly cooked. The Bordetto was (as it should be) just like soup on the bottom of the peas and salmon. Just weird plus the flavors just didn't knock me out. Three others loved it so it may have just been"

Reviewed Steak Carpaccio

"Made this a few years ago after I saw her make it and it is devine, beautiful and very simple! People loved it and I plan on making it this weekend as a side to cheese fondue! Once again Giada gets it!""

Reviewed Grandma Monette's Cherry Jam Tart

"Okay, I made this today and for dessert this evening and it was DELISH! Very flavorful and aromatic. Now for the rest of the story...
Had a problem finding almond flour so I substituted whole wheat graham flour only because that was the only weird flour that I could find that seemed like it belonged on a tart crust. I only had an 11 inch tart pan""

Reviewed Baked Fontina

"This is the bomb! You can use any flavorful cheese and remember you get on your palate what you pay for. If you are going to bother to cook do it right the first time. I would say the people that gave it under 4 stars just don't have a developed palate. Just like, I can't even begin to choke down fast food! YUCK! Love this recipe Ina!"

Reviewed Crab Salad in Endive Leaves

"After reading these reviews I am afraid to even try it! The lump crab cost me $25.00 for one pound and I would hate to waste it. What a shame, I was looking forward to trying this and wish Giada would re-do the recipe!"

Reviewed New Potato Salad

"This is our favorite potato salad recipe and even takes place over my mom's which was the only potato salad we ever ate for years! Wouldn't change a thing!"
