I dream of opening a little cafe/bakery one day. Cooking allows me to know what really makes something so simple taste so very good. Control over the outcome and seeing the pleasure food can bring to those around me is such a reward.
I love black tea!! Irish breakfast (Twinings), Darjeeling and Plantation Mint (Bigelow), and many others.
My favorite dish to cook are "toads in a hole." It is so easy and delicious for breakfast at anytime. I am also trained in making from scratch red sauce and alfredo sauce. I have been disappointed with with many restaurants, but if we are talking a memorable experience with someone I love, my favorite restaurant is Cabo's in Houston, TX. My last fantastic experience and great food. Always consistent is Mama Mia's in Leavenworth, Kansas, and Carlos O'Kelly's (chain restaurant).
I am currently a black tea addict. I brew it very strongly. Drink my tea iced with sweetener, but if I don't feel well I brew up a fresh steaming cup.
