This was fast, flavorful, and delicious. I made this tonight and it was just what I needed to help fight a cold. I halved the recipe and it came out just right. I tasted the broth as I added in the lemon juice and zest because I was worried about it being too much lemon and, this way, I got it just right. Definitely add the orzo bowl by bowl instead...

This was a super easy and yummy recipe. It took a little over an hour to carmelize the onions and they were perfect. I dumped in whatever leftover red wine we had and it worked out well- the flavor was very robust. Trader Joes has shredded swiss/gruyere cheese blend which was convenient. Definitely make this if you're in the mood for some comfort"
