Reviewed fresh peach cake

Jul 28, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Prepared the cake in a 9x9 pan lined with parchment paper. Baked for 60 minutes and the cake came out beautifully. Used fresh peaches from our farmers market. The cake is just sweet enough. The pecan topping so good! We thought the cake actually better next day! A wonderful summer cake when fresh peaches are in season.

Just so wonderful! We celebrated our 24th Anniversary with this beautiful and delicious cake! Prepared in 8x8 rounds and baked at 350 for 20 minutes. Turned temp down to 325 as cakes began to brown. Baked for another 20 minutes. A celebration indeed!
Don't forget the champagne!

Please don't insult viewers with such a poorly executed show. Loud, people talking over each other and frankly not entertaining. Forget thinking you will actually leave with a recipe worthy of making or reviewing.

We enjoyed this lasagna however, I added 5 ounces of Goat Cheese and I should have limited the amount to 3 ounces. It just seemed a bit too rich. I used 1 pound Hot Spicy Italian Sausage with 1/2 pound Sweet Italian Sausage and thought it was great. Other than the "extra" Goat Cheese, it was very good and the lasagna even better the 2nd and 3rd n"

Impressive! We felt the addition of 1/3 cup Kalamata Olives and 1/3-1/2 c. Goat Cheese took the recipe to 5 star! Also important to let the pasta salad marinade together for at least an hour or two in the refrigerator to soften the spinach and bring all flavors together. Serve with a baguette and a nice bottle of wine and you can have a picnic din"

The Best! I baked the cakes in (2) 9 in round cake pans for 35 minutes, with excellent results. I also used chunk canned pineapple and the cake was moist and delicious. We couldn't get enough of this cake! 5 stars and worth the splurge!"

Not a winner for us. We prepared the dish as per the recipe and it was just ok at best. Adding other ingrdients and rating the recipe as 5 star does not fairly represent the recipe given. Take others advice and add andouille, peppers etc. for better result."

Great gourmet style sandwich. I prepared this as noted, however limited salt to 1 teaspoon. I felt 8oz. of the goat cheese plenty given how rich this cheese is. This serves 4-6 easily - I'm hoping left overs will be great for lunch tomorrow. Take the time to roast your own peppers. You may want to think about taking this sandwich for a summer picn"

We so enjoyed this. I stuffed 6 large multi-colored peppers with 3/4 lb ground beef and 3/4 lb sweet Italian sausage. Instead of using water in the baking dish, I used a small can of San Marzano tomatoes, crushing them for a sauce served under the peppers. I was able to freeze leftovers and bake off later.
