"This soup is delicious!! I used fat free half and half instead of cream and it turned out wonderfully. I also used my immersion blender to puree and the consistency was velvety. I needed to add some salt and pepper, to taste. Highly recommend!""

Reviewed Lots O'Meat Lasagna

"Since we are not huge meat eaters, I omitted the sausage and increased the ground chuck to about 2 pounds. I also added about 1/3 cup red wine to the sauce and made it and the cheese mixture about 3 days in advance, leaving the beaten eggs out of the cheese mixture until right before assembly. I allowed both to come to room temp before assembling. My family said this was THE best lasagna they had ever had!!

Reviewed Pot Roast with Vegetables

"This was fantastic!! After seasoning the roast, I dredged it in flour before searing. The ensuing sauce was thick and flavorful. I substituted red wine for the water. The recipe doesn't say what size can of tomatoes to use so I used about 2/3 of a 28oz can and it seemed about right. I also put mine in the oven, after browning--350 degrees for the first hour and then 250 degrees for the next 4 hours, putting my veggies in about an hour before I wanted to serve it. I will never make pot roast any other way. My company raved!
